Veterans' Services The Veterans' staff at CR assists eligible veterans and their dependents in applying for educational benefits through the Veterans' Administration.Â
- To apply: contact the Veterans Affairs Office for more information.
- Recently discharged veterans (within the past two years) may be eligible for priority registration. Bring a copy of your DD-214 to the Veterans Affairs Office on your campus to determine if you are eligible.
- The Veterans Administration Education Service maintains is a "One Stop" website that has links to just about everything of interest to veterans at www.gibill.va.gov
EOPS (Extended Opportunity Programs and Services) This is a state funded program.
- To apply: Contact the EOPS Office at College of the Redwoods by dialing 707-476-4270. They will provide you with information about the program and give you the necessary application forms.
CARE (Cooperative Agencies Resource for Education) This is a state funded program which provides child care subsidies. Funds are administered by the EOPS office.
